Fall Brings Blessings…

So I went to Auburn, CA to do a job with my friend. On the way home we saw these beautiful trees in Fair Oaks, CA, coming down from Auburn. How wonderful God’s creation is. Sacramento, CA has the most beautiful trees that just turn a fiery red and yellow in the fall. One of the them is the Autumn Maple Blaze Tree, this is a cross-bred tree, mixed with a maple tree and a sliver maple tree. Which are all over the county of Sac. They are an amazing display that really shows the artistry of our Lord. It’s amazing to be under a cluster of the trees they are so rich and vibrate and they scream the excellencies of God. Of course a picture can’t do these trees justice but when you take a picture it’s amazing how good the pictures come out. Even if you’re not a professional and you are taking them with your camera phone…having said that, there are also some other trees that were imported here from China, called Chinese Pistache Trees…they are just as impressive and are made for fall. Fall is my favorite time of year in this city. Having been born and raised for most of my life in Los Angeles, I never respected fall as much as I do here in Sacramento. I can’t wait for fall to show up it is beauty on display and it renders me speechless. These 2 songs scream about the wonders of our God…

I just thought of something this may sound insensitive in light of the past storm to speak of “Fall Brings Blessing.” I don’t  mean it to be so forgive me. I’m just trying to say that God is still worthy to be praised in light of the destruction on the land. And to blame God for this storm on the east coast is to be mistaken we must blame ourselves. And the old phrase about, “it could have been worse,” is very much a true statement.

How Great Thou Art ~ When through the woods and forest glades I wander And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees; When I look down from lofty mountain grandeur And hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze; Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee; How great Thou art! How great Thou art! Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee; How great Thou art! How great Thou art! ~

Great is Thy Faithfulness ~ Summer and winter, and spring-time and harvest, Sun, moon and stars in their courses above, Join with all nature in manifold witness To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love. Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness! Morning by morning new mercies I see; All I have needed Thy hand hath provided Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

This is why I’m not afraid of even the most fearsome storms because God is in control of EVERYTHING…and He is a just and good God, in spite of natural disasters.

By the word of the Lord the heavens were made and by the breath of his mouth all their host. He gathers the waters of the sea as a heap; he puts the deeps in storehouses. Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him! For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm. ~ Psalm 33:6-9 (ESV) Blessings…Shazza ~ Musings&Rants

  1. I really liked your post. The Lord loves us and gives us beauty in so many ways to enjoy. Of all the things created we were the only thing created in His image, we are the crowing point of His creation. We were made to demonstrate our love to Him through our obedience and the beauty of our words are to praise Him.

    • Amen, it’s a beautiful thing too what he did for us when he created us. And what a great master craftsmen. Then when he made a way for us to live with him forever even after our horrible sin against him was the ultimate grace…God is so worthy of our praise and love thanks for the great reminder. Blogging is awesome, Blessings, Shazza.

      • Thanks for the reply Shazza. I see from your comments that you appear to be a blood washed born again believer in Christ. From your comments I am reminded that God’s grace is greater than all of our sin. If you get a chance I am a Christian writer and I write gospel booklets on Salvation and some on discipleship. If you happen to get a chance to visit my site I would like to see what you think.. (http://www.unctionsofthespirit.com) Have a blessed and peaceful week!

    • Thanks Wendy, it’s important to trust God no matter what calamity may fall. If we live through it the idea is to learn from it, if we die from it, we are present with our father, (if we have trusted in Christ)!!!! So it’s a win, win for a Christian. I’m thinking of the song…”All The Way My Savior Leads Me.” The main verse says, “For I know whatever befalls me Jesus doeth all things well…”
