Another visit to the ER, because I’m stubborn

Well, what about them apples for a lesson in humiliation??? So, I was in the emergency room a few months ago, and I had to go back again today. Why, you might ask? Because, I didn’t follow doctor’s orders from the last time I was there, and needed a reminder of my feebleness, and God’s greatness. I’m not sure why I’m not learning this faster, I seem to be faced with this same old life lesson over and over again. Get a clue Shazza!!!

Proverbs 29:1 ~  He who is often reproved, yet stiffens his neck, will suddenly be broken beyond healing.

Atrial Fibrillation
Atrial Fibrillation

So there I was connected to a heart monitor, on Valentine’s Day, how funny, but what’s even more entertaining is that the emergency room was filled with heart patients today. 8 to be exact, the nurse informed me that they were all back to back and I was the last one in for a heart issue. Mine, was again, “Atrial Fibrillation“, just to be clear it wasn’t a heart attack but an erratic heart beat. That place was loaded with heart monitors going off every few minutes. I’m so glad I walked out of their today, I would have missed all of you if I couldn’t share my life with you, my blog family. The one thing being in the hospital does do, is,it gives you material for future blog posts like this one. This experience, was much less chaotic than the last time. Also, I didn’t have to go under this time either. Oh, one more thing, my doctor was so HANDSOME!!! I was like,” wow, look at this guy”, Dr. Boren :). Oh, I digress, I’m glad to say, that since this latest warning from the Lord, I will be following up with the specialist that they suggested, like I was supposed to do last time and didn’t. Because, I don’t want to be back there again for a while or ever! So HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!!! Shazza ~ Musings&Rants

  1. Phew! Glad you’re ok!!
I had erratic heartrate/beat a LOT during the first half of my pregnancy with Samuel. It was stress related because I was so scared of miscarrying. 😦 Once I chilled and wasn’t stressed out anymore, the heart stuff “magically” disappeared! 😀
How funny that there were HEART patients on V Day! 😉

    • Yes I think the first time I had it ten years ago it was related to stress, even in november when I had it last year. Then I’m not sure what caused it tuesday night and into yesterday? Maybe I was stressed and didn’t know it. Anyway, when it happened in november I didn’t follow up and surprise, here we go again. But, in your case that must have been really scary, I’m glad you chilled and everything was ok. Praise God, Valerie, I’m glad we both recovered.
      Blessings Shazza!!! 🙂
